Smith Rowe signs a five-year contract with Fulham after leaving Arsenal

Arsenal midfielder Emile Smith Rowe signed a five-year contract with a one-year option with Fulham on Friday.

With add-ons, the stated transaction value for the 24-year-old England international was a club record 34 million pounds ($43.6 million).

Fulham’s match against Manchester United at Old Trafford on August 16 marks the start of the Premier League season.

At the age of ten, Smith Rowe enrolled in Arsenal’s academy and worked his way up to make 115 senior appearances for the team across all competitions.

Marco Silva, in an interview with existing players and project manager, expressed excitement about the project and believes it is the perfect step for his future career.

Mikel Arteta, manager of Arsenal, commended Smith Rowe’s dedication and disposition.

Arteta expressed his support for Emile’s new opportunity, stating that he is glad he is starting games and playing frequently, but regrets his departure from Arsenal.
