Rodrygo is unwilling to move from Real Madrid to Manchester City

Manchester City is searching for a striker to replace Argentine striker Julian Alvarez, who is expected to depart for Atletico Madrid. To do this, they will rely on the 75 million fixed plus 20 million variable price that Atletico will pay for the Argentine. Rodrygo Goes, a player for Real Madrid, is a strong contender to take his place. The Brazilian, nevertheless, is adamant that he won’t be leaving Madrid.

Rodrygo intends to fulfill his 2028 contract with Real Madrid. His goal is to excel in the white shirt, and ‘AS’ claims that no matter how hard Manchester City tries to persuade him otherwise with a large salary, they won’t be able to do so.

Pep Guardiola has had Rodrygo on his radar for a while now, and the Etihad Stadium is searching for a replacement for Julian Alvarez, who is shortly leaving for Atletico. The athlete is, nevertheless, entirely focused on Real Madrid. Even if the Catalan coach personally attempts to persuade the Brazilian, he will not reconsider his future away from the ‘Merengues’.

For Rodrygo, the Cityzens could go all out. For the Argentine striker, Atletico will part with $75+20 million in funds; City may use this sum to entice the player.

It will be more challenging with Real Madrid, as they won’t entertain his leaving, regardless of how good the offer is. “Los Blancos” have a 1,000 million dollar clause and don’t need to sell.

Even though Rodrygo praised the English team highly in ‘GQ’ a few months back, calm prevails at Santigago Bernabeu. Back then, he declared, “Manchester City is the best football team in the world, in my opinion.”

Rodrygo has made 216 appearances for Real Madrid, tallying 36 assists and 54 goals. His task is to assist the club in winning as many championships as they can this season, beginning in a few days with the European Super Cup.
