by After taking long vacations following their success in the EUROs and Copa America with England and Canada, respectively, Harry Kane and Alphonso Davies were the final international players for Bayern Munich to return to Sabener Straße. Kane has only participated in a few light training sessions. He also made a brief appearance in Bayern’s 3-2 friendly victory over Tottenham Hotspur in North London. As part of the agreement between the two teams when Kane moved to Bayern last summer, it was the second of two friendly against his former employer.
The England captain has just recently returned to Bayern after his country’s defeat by Spain in the EURO 2024 final in Berlin, but has already expressed his enjoyment of working under new boss Vincent Kompany. Even players who have not returned from international service for very long have been impacted by the Belgian manager, who has only been in control of the team since the beginning of July.
