Copa América Golden Boot odds: Christian Pulisic ascends, Messi declines

Lionel Messi had two excellent scoring opportunities in Argentina’s 2-0 victory over Canada in their opening encounter.

He missed both opportunities to score, though, and as a result, his chances of winning the Copa América Golden Boot dropped from +300 to +500.

Both Julián Álvarez (+400) and Lautaro Martínez (+700), his teammates, were able to make up for the lost ground by scoring.

Regarding the USMNT, Christian Pulisic produced an outstanding goal in the team’s 2-0 victory over Bolivia.

In just the third minute of play, Pulisic gave the USA the lead with a deft shot from right inside the top of the box.

Their chances of taking home the Golden Boot have increased to +1400.
