Chelsea is negotiating a loan for Victor Osimhen as Napoli is pressing for a Romelu Lukaku deal

Napoli wants to bring Romelu Lukaku and Antonio Conte back together on a permanent move, while it’s rumored that Chelsea and Osimhen are stuck in loan negotiations.

  • Osimhen is keen to sign with Chelsea on a loan.
  • The Blues will be able to purchase
  • Lukaku turned to move in the other direction.

The Athletic claims that Lukaku’s planned move to Napoli would result in his permanent relocation to the Italian team. The two organizations are now negotiating a deal that will allow both players to go on to new challenges in 2024–2025. On the other hand, Osimhen’s potential transfer to Chelsea is set up as a loan with a buyout option.

Because Osimhen has a significant £110 million ($142 million) release clause, negotiations have been challenging. The forward has also attracted the attention of Paris Saint-Germain (PSG), but negotiations with Napoli about a permanent transfer have broken down because of disagreements over the player’s value.

The rumors regarding Osimhen’s future at Napoli intensified after the manager, Conte, left him out of a preseason friendly against Egnatia. Chelsea should take heart from this, though, as it appears they are currently the favorites to sign the Nigerian before PSG. Lukaku, on the other hand, is expected to collaborate with Conte once more after the Italian coach helped Inter Milan win Serie A.

Lukaku is expected to start his private training at Chelsea’s Cobham training facility the following week, according to reports. However, the Blues are eager to settle Lukaku’s transfer issue before their team departs for the US on August 7 for their preseason tour.
