“Yamil Lamine? Since he’s only getting started, he should keep his feet on the ground

Ter Stegen wishes Lamine Yamal many accolades in her career. He did, however, advise him to “keep his feet on the ground” because his career is only getting started.

With just 17 years old, Lamine Yamal won the Euro 2024 title with Spain. Marc-Andre ter Stegen, the German goalkeeper for Barcelona, stated on Friday that Yamal should keep his “feet on the ground, because he has just started out” and that he should aim to win trophies annually.

“This gamer is somewhat new to the game. He will always remember winning the European Championship, and I hope he wins many more major championships in the future. At Barcelona’s training camp in Annapolis, Maryland, Ter Stegen addressed the media, saying, “I hope he has that desire to compete for titles every year.”

“He’s already performing at an amazing level, and I hope he continues to improve. He still has many years ahead of him, as he has only recently begun his career,” he continued. Currently on a preseason tour in the United States, Barcelona takes on Real Madrid on Saturday in New Jersey.

Positive remarks were made by Ter Stegen regarding the arrival of German coach Hansi Flick. He has a terrific physical approach to training, always keeps the race in mind, pushes himself to the limit, and demands attention from everyone. In order for us to play three or four games in succession, he stated that he wanted everyone to be at a physical level that permitted it.
